Assume 3.5GB/day torrent + 0.43GBleeway + 1.0GB Daily surfing

3.5*1024*1024 = 3670016KB/day

1Day = 24Hours*60Mins*60Secs

3670016/24/60/60 = 42.5KB/Sec constant download rate.

Notes about assumed figures:

  • Some monthly variance due to 30/31day month change
  • Value is total, not data only. Overheads must be factored in.
  • 1GB/day surfing is erring on the side of over-budget rather than under-budget.
  • 0.43GB leeway is assumed to be used for errors in estimation when queueing high-priority downloads
